SeoQuake guide:

Introduction: 
SeoQuake is a programme, which allows user to view a large number of SE parameters on the fly. SeoQuake for Mozilla Firefox consists of three functional parts: SeoToolbar (requested parameters are shown in a separate toolbar in the browser), Seobar (requested parameters are shown in a separate, fully customizable with CSS, HTML block) and output of requested parameters on Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs). ATTENTION! Frequent use of big amount of parameters may lead to the ban from SE. In this case, you will need to delete cookies and change proxy server.
How to install: 
  • In order to use SeoQuake you have to be using Firefox. You can download it from here.
  • After installation of Firefox use it to browse to this very page and choose one of the two buttons below: "Install SeoQuake Now!" - to install it from our server or "Install SeoQuake from Mozilla.org" - to install it from the official Firefox site.

  • Software Installation window should pop-up. Just click Install Now. If Software Installation window does not appear, then you should allow Firefox to install software from the site you've chose. To do this:
    • Look for the bar at the top of your browser with the button "Edit Options".
    • Click this button.
    • Allowed Sites - Software installation window should appear. Choose "Allow".
    • Close this window and choose one of the two installation buttons above one more time.
    • Click Install Now.
  • Restart Firefox.

Settings: 
  • Turn your Status Bar on ("View" -> "Status Bar" in the Firefox navigation toolbar) if it isn't already on.
  • Status bar is displayed at the bottom of Firefox. On the right side of the Status bar you should see logo of SeoQuake.
  • You can turn SeoQuake off - SeoQuake logo - Off, or on - SeoQuake logo - On by left clicking logo.
  • Right clicking logo will bring up following menu:

  • From this menu you can activate SeoQuake to show results (Seobar, SeoToolbar), order SeoQuake to analyze search results for a number of search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, Yandex, Rambler etc.) and also specify whether a nofollow links should appear strikeout or not (Line-through "nofollow" and "noindex"), clear cache, select desirable preset and open Preferences.
    This is what Seobar looks like:

    Double click on the icon on the left side of the seobar or single click on the arrow on the right side of the seobar minimizes/restores seobar. Single click on the cross on the right side of the seobar closes it.
     
  • Choose Preferences from the main menu.

  • From this window you can enable/disable different plugins for SeoQuake.

  • This is where you can turn on/off analysis of search queries for main search engines and output of results of this analysis (Google, Yahoo, MSN etc). Also, for each of search engines a number of additional parameters are available: option to set the number of search results to analyze and option to load parameters on SERP load or by request. "Links Info" parameter allows you to specify if data about links on the page should load simultaneously with page or by request.
    This is an example of you will get if in main menub you will turn on Google and submit a query into Google search engine:

    Button Request parameters in the screenshot above is only visible if option Load parameters is set on By request. Two other buttons - Save to file... and Append to file... are used to save search results in file (CSV format). Below are the arrows, which allow user to sort results by corresponding parameters.

  • Here you can turn Seobar on/off, tune its behaviour (Fixed, Movable, Open minimized) and appearance (using CSS), and also specify a list of domain names for which Seobar will be turned off, and turn on/off working through https protocol.

  • Here you can turn SeoToolbar on/off, set the parameter loading method (On page load - simultaneously with page or by request), and also specify a list of domain names for which Seobar will be turned off, and turn on/off working through https protocol.

  • In this window you can turn on/off keywords density calculation for the current page, set the repeat threshold for keywords and specify the list of stopwords.

        Number of links, pointing to the current page. Google version (Except links from concerned domain).

        Number of links, pointing to the current page. Yahoo version (Except links from concerned domain).
      • Yahoo Linkdomain (LD)
        Number of links, pointing to the current domain. Linkdomain (LD) operator finds pages linking to domain, as opposed to link which finds references to a single page. Yahoo version.
      • Yahoo Linkdomain2 (LD2)
        Number of links, pointing to the current domain (2-level domain). Linkdomain2 (LD2) operator finds pages linking to an entire domain, as opposed to linkdomain (LD) which finds references to a current domain (subdomain for example). Yahoo version.
      • Yahoo Directory
        Domain presence in the Yahoo Directory.
      • MSN Index
        Number of indexed pages . MSN version.
      • MSN link
        Number of links, pointing to the current page. MSN version (Except links from concerned domain).
      • MSN Linkdomain (LD)
        Number of links, pointed to the current domain. Linkdomain (LD) operator finds pages linking to domain, as opposed to link which finds references to a single page. MSN version.
      • MSN Linkdomain2 (LD2)
        Number of links, pointing to the current domain (2-level domain). Linkdomain2 (LD2) operator finds pages linking to an entire domain, as opposed to linkdomain (LD) which finds references to a current domain (subdomain for example). MSN version.
      • Yandex CY
        Yandex Rank of current page.
      • Yandex index (russian SE)
        Number of indexed pages. Yandex version.
      • Yandex link
        Number of links, pointing to the current page. Yandex version.

        Domain presence in the Yandex Directory.

    • Parameter creation. In order to create your own parameter press New button, under list of parameters.

      In the opened window fill in required fields:
      • [NAME]= Parameter name (Any set of symbols).
      • [TITLE]= Title to output in the SeoQuake and next to parameter value on SERPs (Any set of symbols).
      • [URL_R]= Address of the page, which contains desired information (parameter value). (Example: [URL_R]=http://del.icio.us/url/check?url={url|encode}&submit=check%20url for Delicious index.) In brackets {} parameters, inserted from link under process, are specified.
      • [REGEXP]= A regular expression, used for information search on the page. (Example: [REGEXP]=this url has been saved by (\d+) people. for Delicious index).

      To edit a parameter select it from the list of parameters and press Edit. To delete a parameter select it from the list of parameters and press Delete.
    • Presets. In order to create your own preset press New in window Parameters, section Presets (under the list of parameters), enter desired name for this new preset, then choose parameters you want this preset to contain and press Save. To delete a preset choose it from drop-down menu and press Delete.
       
In the last bookmark - Advanced:
